Welcome Letter

Would you like to register your temporary residence with us at HUB Apartments Harburg? No problem – we will gladly issue you a landlord's confirmation for the registration office.

To ensure everything runs smoothly, please observe these conditions:

For individual guests:

– Minimum stay: 90 nights

– Deposit: €150.00 (You will get this back as soon as you submit your written change of address or cancellation notice.)

– Important: Changes to your booking or cancellation must be made no later than 14 days after check-out – otherwise we reserve the right to retain the deposit.

For corporate bookings:

– Minimum stay: 29 nights

No deposit is required if the company confirms in writing that it will handle the check-out. Otherwise, the guest is required to pay a deposit of €150.00.

Also good to know:

After successful registration, you are obliged to pay the broadcasting fee (GEZ) – currently approximately €15.00 per month.

When you enter the building through the main entrance, you'll see a staircase to your left. You can either walk all the way to the top or take the elevator to the left of the stairs to the 5th floor and then walk up the last two flights of stairs to the roof terrace.

Next to the building is a small square that deceptively invites parking. This land belongs to the city, and we would like to point out that parking there is at your own risk.

If you need a secure parking space for your car, we'd be happy to rent you one of our parking spaces for €10 per day – subject to availability. Just ask us.

The laundry room is located in the basement opposite Apartment 02. To do your laundry here, you only need the WeWash app and your own detergent. You will find instructions in your apartment or directly in the laundry room.

A wash cycle costs €3.00; the dryer costs €2.50. Laundry baskets and drying racks are available free of charge in the laundry room.

You can park your bicycle in our bicycle storage room. You'll find it in the basement, in the middle of the hallway – just follow the signs.

The waste disposal room is located opposite the bicycle storage room.

Our apartments feature an induction cooktop operated via a touch-sensitive control panel. If the cooktop is on but you can't activate the burners, the key lock is likely engaged. Press and hold the key button until you hear a beep to deactivate the key lock.

Only pans and pots that are compatible with induction cooktops will work on the hob. Please check your cooking utensils for compatibility before use.

As much as we love animals, out of consideration for all guests and due to our house rules, pets are unfortunately not allowed in the HUB Apartments. We ask for your understanding.

Coming from the north:

Once you're on the A7 heading towards Hamburg/Kiel, you're on the right track. Your exit is "HH-Marmstorf towards B75". At the next fork, keep right so that you're driving towards the B75 /Rotenburg/Elbbrücken/Harburg.

You are now driving on Maldfeldstraße and after a short distance turn right onto Bremer Straße (B75). After approximately 3.5 kilometers, please turn left – still on Bremer Straße. After another kilometer, please turn left again onto your destination street, Knoopstraße. The HUB Apartments are located approximately 150 meters further on your right-hand side.

Coming from the south:

Your first landmark is the A7 motorway towards Hamburg/Bremen. Take the exit "HH-Marmstorf towards B75". At the next fork, keep right so that you are driving towards the B75 /Rotenburg/Elbbrücken/Harburg.

You are now driving on Maldfeldstraße and after a short distance turn right onto Bremer Straße (B75). After approximately 3.5 kilometers, please turn left – still on Bremer Straße. After another kilometer, please turn left again onto your destination street, Knoopstraße. The HUB Apartments are located approximately 150 meters further on your right-hand side.

By public transport:

If you're not already on the S3 (towards Neugraben) or the S31 (towards Harburg Rathaus), then these are the S-Bahn lines you should look for. Get off at the "Harburg Rathaus" station and leave the station in the direction of "Eißendorfer Straße; Knoopstraße".

Follow the road towards the Archaeological Museum & Harburg District Office for approximately 400 meters. On the left-hand side, diagonally opposite the museum, you will arrive at your destination: Welcome!

From HUB Apartments Harburg, you can reach the "Harburg Rathaus" S-Bahn station in just about 5 minutes on foot. From there, the S3 and S31 lines will take you quickly and conveniently onward – for example, directly to Hamburg Central Station in about 16 minutes.

Bus stops are also very close by, so you can easily explore Harburg and the south of Hamburg. If you prefer to walk: Harburg's old town with its cafes, shops, and the Lämmertwiete alley is also just a few minutes' walk away.

HUB Apartments Harburg is located in the heart of Hamburg-Harburg. The Harburg district lies south of the Elbe River and offers an authentic, vibrant atmosphere with good connections to Hamburg city center.

Yes, there is a vending machine with snacks and drinks available in the entrance area. You can buy a small snack or something to drink there at any time.
