General questions

  • Who do I call in an emergency?

    In case of an emergency requiring police, fire brigade or medical assistance, please inform the authorities immediately.

    For other emergencies, please refer to the "Welcome Letter" in your room or call the emergency number at the main entrance door.

  • How do I check into my apartment?

    Checking in with us is super easy. You don't even need to go to reception. On your arrival day, or possibly the day before, you'll receive an email with your building access details and directions to your apartment. If you have any difficulties or questions, you'll find our emergency number in your check-in email.

  • How do I check out?

    To ensure you don't miss anything later, please check all drawers and cupboards before you move out. On the day of departure, you can simply drop your keycard into the designated slot at the check-in terminal.

  • How do I pay for my apartment?

    To ensure a smooth check-in, rent should generally be paid in advance. If you're staying with us for longer than a month, you can pay for your apartment monthly. If you check in to HUB Apartments Harburg during our reception's opening hours, you can also pay the rent upon arrival.

  • Can I obtain a landlord's confirmation of residence?

    Would you like to register your temporary residence with us at HUB Apartments? No problem – we will gladly issue you a landlord's confirmation for the registration office.


    To ensure everything runs smoothly, please observe these conditions:


    For individual guests:

    – Minimum stay: 90 nights

    – Deposit: €150.00 (You will get this back as soon as you submit your written change of address or cancellation notice.)

    – Important: Changes to your booking or cancellation must be made no later than 14 days after check-out – otherwise we reserve the right to retain the deposit.


    For corporate bookings:

    – Minimum stay: 29 nights

    No deposit is required if the company confirms in writing that it will handle the check-out. Otherwise, the guest is required to pay a deposit of €150.00.


    Also good to know:

    After successful registration, you are obliged to pay the broadcasting fee (GEZ) – currently approximately €15.00 per month.



  • When will my apartment be cleaned?

    Your apartment will be cleaned weekly. Generally, it will be cleaned on the same day of the week you arrived. Occasionally, the weekly cleaning may be delayed by one day. You are welcome to discuss this with the housekeeper directly.

  • What should I do if I have lost my keycard?

    If you have lost your keycard or left it in the apartment, go to the entrance area and call the number posted there. The team at that number will help you get back into your apartment.

  • Can I use streaming services on my TV?

    You can easily connect your own device to the TV via screen mirroring and play content from services like Netflix or other streaming services. Please note that there is no integrated Netflix access via the TV in HUB Apartments.

Questions about the HUB Apartment Harburg

  • Where can I find the roof terrace?

    When you enter the building through the main entrance, you'll see a staircase to your left. You can either walk all the way to the top or take the elevator to the left of the stairs to the 5th floor and then walk up the last two flights of stairs to the roof terrace.

  • Where can I park my car?

    Next to the building is a small square that deceptively invites parking. This land belongs to the city, and we would like to point out that parking there is at your own risk.

    If you need a secure parking space for your car, we'd be happy to rent you one of our underground parking spaces – subject to availability. Just ask us.

  • Where is the laundry room and how do the washing machines work?

    The laundry room is located in the basement opposite Apartment 02. To do your laundry here, you only need the WeWash app and your own detergent. You will find instructions in your apartment or directly in the laundry room.

    A wash cycle costs €3.00; the dryer costs €2.50. Laundry baskets and drying racks are available free of charge in the laundry room.

  • Where do I leave my bicycle?

    You can park your bicycle in our bicycle storage room. You'll find it in the basement, in the middle of the hallway – just follow the signs.

  • Where do I dispose of my trash?

    The waste disposal room is located opposite the bicycle storage room.

  • How does the stove work?

    Our apartments feature an induction cooktop operated via a touch-sensitive control panel. If the cooktop is on but you can't activate the burners, the key lock is likely engaged. Press and hold the key button until you hear a beep to deactivate the key lock.

    Only pans and pots that are compatible with induction cooktops will work on the hob. Please check your cooking utensils for compatibility before use.

  • When is the reception desk staffed?

    Our reception is staffed from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. If no one is there, please send us an email to info@hub-apartments.de. Do you have a question about your reservation with us?
